What's so creepy? All the psychologist is saying is that if you believe that Satan is telling you to kill your children, you're probably sane. Because Satan really would like for you to kill your children, so it's probably true.
Also Napoleon, who, um, can speak to people from beyond the grave and, um, really hates kids.
God, however, would not want you to kill your kids. If you think God would ask you to do this, you must be insane. That was just a one-time thing, and He took it back.
Unless - wait a minute - Satan tricked her into believing that HE was God. The prosecution should try that angle...
As a person who has been diagnosed as clinically depressive ovewr the long haul, I find both rationales bizarre, and both women are equally insane. In all my year's battles with depression, I never once, not once, thought about hurting my children. Their father was another story, but I wouldn't have harmed him either. Most depressed people would kill themselves, rather than inflict harm on anyone else. And for those who will opine that it a religious indoctrination, forget that, unless it's a cult indoctrination. I was raised in a religious home, although I am now what would be called an atheist. These ladies are crazed, both of them and both of them deserve the same consideration and treatment. This is another example of why the State and all it's appendages, including the judiciary and lawyers should remain secular - religion be darned.

In Texas, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they tried.
What if you are French and Napoleon tells you it is a matter of national security?
