Another evangelical douchebag for Christ.

I swear, it should be illegal for me to be enjoying this as much as I am.

The guy is either a charmingly brazen con-man, or he's an imbecile who forgot "Render unto Ceasar ..."

I'll go with charmingly brazen con-man.

Heehee! This is so beautiful! 'Cause you know this is what all the fundies *think* (including the Canadian versions) but have never dared to say in public before. Let the guy yell his lungs out, and the media report every word! Woo!

For years, he has claimed that he is employed by God and has no income or property because everything he owns belongs to God.

lol...you have to give him points for originality!

I watched a video lecture of Hovind's once on his extraordinary website. He was surprisingly engaging and I highly recommend the experience.
He is also quite obviously mad as snakes.
Were it not for the fact that the man has attracted actual real-life followers and groups like Focus on the Family Canada regularly publish his ravings, we would be embarrassed to make fun of him.

He claims that everything belongs to god but tells authorities they can't come on 'his' property without authority.
He denies US citizenship (where the hell is the Republic of Florida?) but I wonder what his passport says. Does the US allow RoFers to own all the guns he has.
Somewhere on the Infidel Guy podcast archives is Hovind's appearance. I can't believe he gets away with the absolute drivel he spews.
Invents his own pleas. I can't get the phrase "suborned of false muster" out of my head.
Crazy as a bag of hammers.
I shouldn't be enjoying this so much because the rest of my life may be spent trying to get these moments back.
