The sad ending of "Ace of Spades" having a night on the town.

You start falling down at .22. I would say quite a bit above .22, because he's quiet rather than euphoric. If CPoC bloggers are all that drunk, I can relate to that. Though I, personally, prefer to stay on the euphoric side.

One other thing. It seems to me this booking closet is inherently dangerous.

Booking is a flashpoint in the interaction between prisoners and police officers. The fact that this police department has placed a video surveillance camera in the booking closet tells us that the department recognizes this fact.

This booking closet offers the prisoner concealment. If other officers hear or otherwise become aware of a physical confrontation between the booking officer and the prisoner, the size of the room and the location of the booking table makes it impossible for more than one other officer to come effectively to the aid of the booking officer. That decreases the options of the officer trying to protect the booking officer and raises the danger of the employment of lethal force.

I appreciate this department is probably running out of space. Nevertheless. the department should tear down the rest of the wall with the doorway, making this an alcove rather than a closet. Whatever protection the booking officer gets from keeping a table between himself and the prisoners is offset by the ability of the prisoner to corner the officer behind the table. The booking table should be placed alongside the far wall.
