Oddly, even after raking in almost a half mil specifically for the purpose of hiring new hacks, shills, flakes, yahoos and head cases to misrepresent^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H cover the news:
one still sees absolutely no recently-hired fake journos at the masthead at Der Rebel. Where is all that money going?
P.S. There is still going to be a Part Deux to this deathless prose, you just have to be patient. It will be worth it.

Oh no, dear boy, major staffing efforts are in the works. You may not have seen their most current pitch. While I never provide links to Rebel stories, this one really IS worth checking out. Seek out the title "Lockdown Reports: help us keep telling stories the mainstream media won't". March 19.
Ezra has now promoted his two "videographers" to full reporter status; and in a posting last Friday, they confirm their elevation with the most representative Rebel act imaginable; their inaugural report is pitch for money.
It's actually one of the funniest things I've seen on the Rebel in quite some time. These two kids are "videographers" in this sense that your uncle Morrie who used his i-phone to record your niece's piano recital is a "videographer". Their work in past has consisted mainly of low rez, handheld, poorly composed and badly edited crowd shots, punctuated by shots of Dave Menzies or Keean Bexte yelling at cops.
The March 19 story features these two kids, looking horribly uncomfortable, doing a kind of sloppy, inarticulately Garth-And-Wayne tag team plea for money to pay for their "car rental and gas" so they can continue "telling the stories that other media won't" (presumably by that they refer to "other" media's tedious habit of allowing boring considerations like content, analysis, balance and technical quality to dilute the Warhol-like, uncut raw vigor of Rebel footage.)
The two gamely smirk their way through a long string of Ezra-ism, alternating between boredom and Faux-Heroic-Outrage, using editing that looks like an eight year old's first TikTok posting.
Really, you MUST check it out. It definitely leaves one with the feeling that the Rebel is not long for this world - if they're really sunk this low, I thing Ezra must have given up and is laying the groundwork for his next failure. .
