This would be the same Ezra Levant who had no problem with a 15-year-old Omar Khadr being locked up in Guantanamo Bay for a decade before ever seeing a courtroom. But, hey, that's different because fuck you, that's why.

They were supposed to have the trial this June, but instead they had a bunch of pre-trial motions and it was all under a publication ban, so why would MSM reporters go to Lethbridge just to learn the new trial date?
The publication ban may have been requested by the defendants, I'm not sure. Also the delays may have been caused by either side or both and the underfunded court system.
I must say I enjoyed Levant's tweeting at the start of the trial since he was less clueless about what was going on in court than most convoyers, but now twitter is very difficult to use since my account was suspended and all the stupid changes were made.
(Helpful Hint: many journalists and some other people are on Muck Rack and often their twitter feeds are there.)
