I think might be doing it on purpose to taunt you. He still might totally believe that he'll never be held fully accountable for his actions. Or maybe he's leaving Northern Alberta shortly and is posting a false flag.
At some point, shouldn't you have access to his banking records, so you can know the name of his employer, and perhaps his travel patterns?
