Anyone wanted to know why they were keeping Sarah away from the press got the answer this afternoon. They let her talk to Katie Couric. Katie threw a slider.

But O'Bama? Still not flapping. Goes "this is the time we really need the debate cuz one of us is going to get stuck with this mess in 40 days (and nights.)"
