Quite so ... manipulating the calendar is a tacky, classless and douchebaggy thing to do. Unless, of course, it gives you a partisan political advantage. Then we're good.

IOKIYAC. This election is for the good of the country. This law only applies to Liberals who call elections for partisan reasons.

That the Liberals and NDP are under the thumb of Chairman Mao, well, that is undisputed fact. No need to think about that.
