Dumbassitude on parade: The Raphael Alexander chronicles.

Quoth the Raph:

I can speak for [Stephen Taylor] in that he doesn't tolerate overt forms of racism or allusions to it on the Blogging Tories.

I'm sorry, Raphael, what was that?

I can speak for [Stephen Taylor] in that he doesn't tolerate overt forms of racism or allusions to it on the Blogging Tories.

I apologize, Raphael, come again?

I can speak for [Stephen Taylor] in that he doesn't tolerate overt forms of racism or allusions to it on the Blogging Tories.

You'll have to speak up, Raphael, because I could have sworn I heard you say:

I can speak for [Stephen Taylor] in that he doesn't tolerate overt forms of racism or allusions to it on the Blogging Tories.

Um ... yeah, that's what I thought you said. Thanks ever so much for clearing that up.

P.S. I'm sure Stephen Taylor is relieved that you've taken it upon yourself to speak for him, Raphael. I'm guessing he'll be getting ahold of you shortly to ... thank you for it. Yeah, I'm sure that's what you should be expecting.

Let us all know how that conversation turns out, OK?

Key word: Overt.

definition, overt - well, that all depends who you are talking to.
