When your doofusness is out there for all the world to see.

There are times when you do something totally clueless and you pray that no one finds out about it and that it just disappears quietly into the dustbin of history.

This is not one of those times.

But, but, but...he says it was just a joke, and because he didn't take comments down till they reached the 300 mark, 99% telling him what a doofus he was, then we should all believe him, right? Of course, his subsequent posts indicate that he is a zealot, without thought, without empathy, without any kind of consideration - but it was a joke...NOT.
Please, let the rapture come and take all these folks away from us.

Apparently, it's soon.

"For the first time in my Christian walk, I have no doubts that the day of the Lords appearing is upon us. I have never felt this way before, I have a joy that bubbles up every-time I think of him, for I know this is truly the time I have waited for so long."

Ready, waiting and excited

Read Arthur C. Clark's "Childhood's End". It was prescient, and it is a metaphor. Taken within the context with what is going on in the far right, it is enlightening. People, wno are aliens, promising eternal peace, but have no intention of that. It was written and published in 1953, and it is a clarion call. The folks who come clothed in sheep's clothing are not necessarily as harmless as they appear. Everyone who has vision of power has a hidden agenda. Goddess help the rest of us, cause they will take care of themselves and won't lose a moment of sleep over the rest of us. The really funny thing is, although they don't realize it, they rely on the rest of us to make them money. Without us, they are broke. BUT they don't realize it. They honestly do not understand that workers are necesseray to sustain the integrity of the hive.

If I remember correctly, those aliens enabled mankind to take the next leap to godlike status, and were certainly benevolent. They ended crime and unfairness, lying and deceit, and enabled mankind to reach his potential.

They were devil-like in appearance, but in the book our fears of that shape were because of a racial pre-memory of the 'death' of our human bodies. But they were a race that helped many others achieve the trancendence that they could not achieve themselves.

You sure you read the same book I did?

And yet, he has his 15 minutes of glorious infamy, which is celebrity by any standard.

I don't know what his blog hits were before this, but he's certainly found a way to improve the profile. All that and he gets to improve his profile with the forced birth advocates for being a martyr in their cause.

I bet he's happy as a pig in slop.
