Oh, God ... I'm sooooooo confused.

There's this:

MEDIA STRAINS TO PORTRAY BUSH AS ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN MIDEAST CRISIS ...

But wait! That can't be right:

U.S. won't pressure Israel for quick end to violence: Rice

The United States is looking for a "sustainable peace" in the Middle East and won't pressure Israel for a quick end to its military campaign in the region ...

Thank heavens for the mainstream media; otherwise, I'd never know what was going on.

Not to mention that the U.S. is expediting the shipment of precision-guided bombs to Israel in the midst of their bombing campaign against Lebanon.

Wait, I guess that does make Bush an active participant in the mideast crisis!

I just cannot get over the way that an immediate ceasefire, possibly saving hundreds of lives or more, is not a good thing in the eyes of certain politicians. regardless of permanent peace or not.

They are all fools.

Speaking of the mainstream media, I see that the National Post is at it again. Today, a big picture of the scary Iranian president, with a caption that reads: "ARCHITECT OF WAR?"

This, despite credible evidence that Israel has been planning this ethnic cleansing/security perimeter operation for over a year and were just waiting for acceptable provocation to put the plan into action.

National Post = Fox News North? Discuss.
