The detail that your client is conducting these sorts of activities in spite of the recent situation in my family is significantly aggravating. It appears that your client is attempting to exploit this recent situation, and that is absolutely intolerable.
As you can see, Patrick refers twice to some "recent situation" related to his family, but nowhere in his entire magnum dopus does he clarify what he is talking about. I can speculate wildly (and I have heard rumours), but I will leave it at ... if anyone knows what this means, or how it might be explained by various family members suddenly spending time at the home of Patrick's elderly father, by all means, drop me a line.
Thank you kindly.

I don't think there's much mystery here. I remember reading somewhere that Patrick's father (his remaining parent) is in increasingly poor health, so it doesn't surprise me that there might be more activity in the driveway at Casa Ross if the kids are stopping by more regularly to check on him. And that would seem to be compatible with Patrick's hysterics about this "recent situation," but I'm just guessing.
I'm sure you were thinking the same thing but were just being diplomatic. But in any case, you'd be smart to look into what it would take to contest the will in case Patrick's father kicks off. Given Patrick's sleaziness, I'll bet they've already rewritten the will to "officially" leave nothing for Patrick but, behind the scenes, he still gets stuff. I can't imagine you wouldn't have thought of this yet, and aren't prepared for that. I know someone who went through something like that once and if someone is determined, you can tie up an estate for YEARS.
Anon @ 6:20 AM: Yes, I was being diplomatic, I had heard the same rumours but without any meaningful confirmation. And, yes, I have already made preparations for that eventuality. And, yes, I am more than prepared to lock down that estate with litigation for as long as it takes.
In any event, if anyone learns what the above "recent situation" might represent, let me know so I can respond appropriately.
I get into Lloyd on a regular basis and I can always swing by there and see what's shaking and take a picture if necessary, but are you sure it's legal? I've seen Patrick screaming about stuff like surveillance and harassment and what he'd do if he caught whoever took that picture, so I want to make sure I can't get into any trouble.
Anon @ 8:22 AM: I am not asking *anyone* to do anything which makes them uncomfortable. Having said that, in just my last blog post, I pointed out that Patrick himself was forced to admit he had no basis for complaining about someone who did nothing more than take a picture from the safety of the street.
Note well how, after being told by two different people about how there was nothing criminal about that act, he immediately changed the subject and began shrieking about how, well, it's not so much the picture-taking as wearing a mask (who cares?) and not having a license plate (untrue). But there's more to it than that.
If a second person took such a picture, and Patrick filed a police report based on that, not only would the RCMP tell him he had no case, but it might get Patrick in some trouble since it can be shown that he *knows* there is nothing criminal about that and insists on wasting the RCMP's time, anyway. In fact, if someone does do such surveillance, and Patrick complains to the police, people are welcome to use my previous blog post as *proof* that Patrick is well aware he is fabricating a criminal offense. And physically threatening the picture taker would probably get Patrick in even more trouble.
So, again, don't do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
If I'm reading the recurring cycle of Patrick's "strategic" manoeuvring correctly, this new messaging signals the stage that occurs AFTER Denial and Arrogance, when he realizes there's an actual threat here and suddenly becomes the embattled warrior begging for sympathy. Don't I remember him at various times pleading severe depression, suicidal impulses and so forth (all of which seemed to lift miraculously when the proximate threat receded.)
As I recall, it worked as well in court as all his other brilliant tactics have, but it may signal a new stage of uneasy awareness that the walls are closing in.
Anon @ 9:49 AM: You have identified the cycle of Twatsitude perfectly. What is different here is that his family is now aware of the amount of trouble that Patrick is in, and may very well be wondering if their inheritances are in any danger. The answer being, you bet if I have anything to say about it.
Denial, anger, bargaining, depression... now we know who put the "Ross" in the Kübler-Ross Cycle.
Let's see how well this "recent situation" plays in front of a judge when he's found in contempt for not filling out the mandatory questionnaire
Some of the commenters on this fine blog are brilliant.
It's hilarious to see Patrick screaming about how bad it is to take a picture of someone without their permission and post it on social media when he (*checks notes*) took a picture of someone without their permission and posted it on social media.
Anon @ 2:28 PM: Well spotted, I didn't even think of it that way. Patrick really is the world's biggest hypocrite, isn't he?
