HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Oopsie ... didn't think that one through, did we, Stephen?

AFTERSNERK: It occurs to me that Stephen the Pustulent has just given carte blanche to the organizers of Canadian public galas everywhere to explicitly disinvite members of the Stephen Harper Party of Canada. After all, we wouldn't want to put those poor right-wing fuckwits in an awkward conflict of interest, would we?

"Hello, is this John Q. Conservative Party Member? Yes, about the upcoming public reception to celebrate the opening of the new town arts centre. We appreciate that you've already been invited but, under the circumstances, you'll understand if we'd rather you fucked right off, you snotty, classless boor. Buh bye."

Yes, I think numerous prominent Conservatives are suddenly going to have "scheduling conflicts" when it comes to upcoming public get-togethers. But that's OK -- it leaves more hors d'oeuvres for people with, you know, culture.

But, but ... if Laureen's not going, that means Baird probably doesn't have a "date" anymore. That's just sad.
