Their take, as dog whistled in their "questions" and amplified, as always, by their commenters, is as predictable as it is vile.
"Yeah, too bad about the dead kids. But it's probably just a lost cemetery, and they can't really be sure who's buried there, and in the meantime the Chief, for some unaccountable reason, doesn't want to speak to the Rebel. Meanwhile, send me money so I can throw a little more dust in your eyes and make sure you don't get too weepy about Indians."
The constitutional duty to consult, Indigenous title, treaties and Land Claims are all an impediment to the free and unchained extraction of oil. I get that. And mocking Injuns is just part of the Rebel DNA (I'll never forget Sheila Gunn Reid's revolting comments about the cleanliness of native protesters, or Keean's psychotic raving about lethal traps being set for police by Indigenous groups; but exploiting this horror is a new low for even them. Which is great - we now have an even lower low to look forward to.
