Canadian PM announces new strategy for cross-border trade.
(CC News) In a calculated response to the recent U.S. decision to continue a ban on imports of Canadian beef, Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin announced an increase in the price of oil to the United States, from $28/barrel to $1500/barrel.
"But," added Martin, "with each barrel, you get a free side of beef."
