Vis a Vis, hanging upside down, having suffered from clinical depression for over 30 years, anything that helps is a bonus. One wonders about the humanity of people who would use this as a club to denigrate the person seeking to help themselves without recourse to constant medication. Is there no shame anymore?

Hanging upside down is also good for people with some types of back problems. If your spine has been compressed, it helps to spread the vertebrae out again.
Not to mention that it's a fun thing to do if you're playing with the kids on the monkeybars.
