Like Bush is in charge of anything. He should stay at Crawford full time; Cheney, Rummy and Condi are in charge.
...and the less said about that irrelevant debating club (the US Congress) the better.

If you Bush haters would read the rest of the article, you'd see why it is so important for the president to have a vacation now. In the fall he's going to be busy, busy, busy fundraising and campaigning for the November elections. He can't exactly be expected to take a vacation then, can he? And how's he going to do a good job campaigning if he isn't fresh? I don't think enough people understand how much work it is being president.

I doubt anyone would care. The man operates like bladder on a stick anyway.
Does the President actively campaign during Congressional elections? I never really pay that much attention. It would seem that a healthy division of powers in the world's most perfectest democracy would prevent such a thing, but then again, I am hopelessly naive.
