"Cognitive dissonance?" Yeah, I can explain that.
That's when you buy into a thoroughly bizarre conspiracy theory (explained in all of its delightfully delusional wingnuttery here) about how an Israeli attack that killed dozens of children was all a carefully-choreographed, meticulously-staged propaganda stunt while, in that very same article, you happily and credulously swallow whole the idea that three utterly generic photos represent, in some way, the irrefutable, smoking gun proof of one of your favourite paranoid fantasies.
Coming next week: I explain what it means to be clinically batshit crazy, possibly without even needing to find a new blog posting.
