Juat another random link for no good reason whatsoever.

Following a link from this piece, we come to this. I'm too lazy to provide any commentary.

AFTERTHOUGHT: OK, one short comment -- that Harlan Ellison is one of my all-time favourite authors, and his short story "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream," is nothing short of a must-read. And now I'm done. Really.

A recent interview with Ellison may be read here. He's a tough Jew because he had to be. I lived a different life than he did, in no small part because of the life he lived. And his writing has always been a window into both truth and beauty. It's not fashionable to say that about Ellison, but it's true.

Thanks for the link but, sadly, it does show that Ellison is getting a bit mentally-scrambled in his old age. I mean, that final suggestion of his -- to build a really tall wall in the Mideast to calm things down.

Really now. A big wall. What kind of totally deluded, insane, asinine idea is that?

Oh ... wait ...
