Saddam's a bad man!
A very bad man! A horrific tyrant who invaded Kuwait ... and gassed his own people ... and all sorts of really bad things, and we're going to lock him up and throw away the key and there's no corner of hell too hot for that sonofabitch, that evil monster, that ... that ...

In the meantime....in PNAC's latest 'Darling Of the Moment', Uzbekistan, the hippos are being boiled in their tanks.
Ironically, all they'd have to do to let Saddam off the hook would be to admit that nobody -- particularly not the US or new Iraqi government -- actually has legal jurisdiction to try him for anything....
It's highly unlikely that Hussein will ever go to trial. Do you really think the Bush administration wants a Saddam Hussein with nothing to lose on the stand, spewing details of his previous business and personal relationships?
