Another Olympic Scam

Vancouver Olympic weasels are trying to trademark a chunk of the national anthem.

According to a Canadian Press report, VANOC organizers have applied to trademark the line "with glowing hearts" for use in the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver.

Not that it derives from a particularly catchy tune but how about the Olympic greed fest does without trademarking that which they have no claim to. These arrogant pukes have swindled Canadians out of a big chunk of the dictionary already, leave the national anthem alone. Besides, that will just ruin my marketing plan for the Sacred Glowing Heart of Radioactive Zombie Jesus action figure that Goes for the Gold and Takes the Medal and whatever other tripe they figure to own. Fuck the Vancouver Olympic Scam. Boycott 2010.

I've boycotted the Olympics since 1976. And yet they keep going and get worse every year. Or every two years.

God, I hope I live long enough to see that circus brought to an end.

I look forward to the day when we are all awakened with the patriotic CBC sign-on:

O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

Dum-dum-de-dum we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free! ...

You know it's coming.
