The Washington Post and the Firefox browser.

It may be just a trivial misconfiguration on my part, but the Washington Post is really pissing me off with the Canon-related ad that plops itself down over the opening of this article and refuses to go away. This is the first time I've run across something this annoying.

Thoughts?

Use Opera. Toggle images off. Block pop-ups. Problem goes away.

I never see any of the ads etc.that other people complain about CC. I'm stuck with dialup and I do about 90% of my browsing as indicated above. Only problem is I have no idea what most sites/blogs look like and from the ones I've seen that isn't necessarily a bad thing

Don't need to get opera, just get the Adblock plugin for firefox, works like a charm. Gets rid of all kinds of ads, even google ones (Although you can set which ones you want on/off)
