There's an episode of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" wherein Dr. Beverly Crusher is accidentally trapped inside a "warp bubble," which turns out to be a slowly-decreasing volume of an entire universe, and she has to figure out how to escape before it collapses on her completely. (Spoiler: She escapes.)
Welcome to Rebel News, which is an equally-shrinking universe of "experts" or "pundits" or however the yobs at Der Rebel describe the inexorably decreasing number of people that seem willing to come on their programs and humiliate themselves for the camera time. If you're willing to sacrifice the precious minutes still available to you and avail yourself of Rebel's vaunted "Premium Content" interviews, you start to realize that it's pretty much the same collection of bloviating gasbags over and over and over and over and over and over and ... well, you get the idea.
For starters, these days, if you need a totally-unqualified contrarian to bad-mouth vaccines who has no expertise in the field, Oil Patch Barbie Sheila Gunn Reid has just the person -- over and over, again and again, repeatedly -- one Dr. Roger Hodkinson:
because, apparently, hearing a second doctor's opinion is a bit too ambitious or something.
If you need an "expert" to pooh-pooh the entire concept of climate change, well, step right up, Climate Depot's Marc Morano:
Want someone to opine tediously on the current state of Alberta's oil industry? Apparently, there is one and only one person worth listening to -- Robbie Picard:
And, most recently, when it comes to blathering on ignorantly about climate science and that nefarious foreign fundraising and foreign interference, it appears that the only person who will ever, ever, ever, ever be invited to present an opinion is the (laughably-misnamed) Friends of Science's Michelle Stirling:
At this point, one suspects one could write out the entirety of Rebel News' Rolodex on the back of a postage stamp with a shaving brush.
P.S. Yes, I will be getting back to the shadowy group of dudes that is "The Democracy Fund" in short order, so be patient.

To be fair to Friends of Science, I think we've all had a friend we just didn't understand.
