If you want to help, let me make a suggestion.
(Moved to the top (again) as a not-so-subtle reminder.)
Noah's Wish, a not-for-profit organization whose job is to help animals during natural disasters. Even when I dearly want to slap people in general upside the head, I'll still be worried about their pets. (All four of my cats would be happy to vouch for me, when they're not busy horking up mouse parts on the hardwood.)
I'm sending $50. Now it's your turn.
FYI: The twins, when they were still young and adorable and not yet horking up mouse parts.
