Bring me the head of Stephen Harper!

Oh my God, they were going to storm Parliament Hill and take hostages and OHMIGOD they were planning on beheading Stephen Harper, that's appalling, that's horrifying, that's ... that's ... hmmmmm ... that sounds vaguely familiar ...

After the September 11 attack masterminded by a terrorist hoping to spark a religious war, virtually every official and pundit knew better than to take the bait. Except for conservative commentator Ann Coulter, who wrote in a syndicated column on September 12 that in responding to terrorists "we should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity."

OK, then. Apparently, it's all a matter of context.

Okay,

Now i know that this is complete and utter bullshit. So, after a bunch of young men and teenagers blew smoke for TWO YEARS, they then went out and put a bunch of flash-lites and battery testers in an IKEA bag and then the RCMP brought them 3 tonnes of fertilizer.

This is completely ridiculous. I'm glad Harper is able to laugh-off the "threats," as they're completely bogus.

This is absolute drivel. This is ridiculous. This is such propaganda and brainwashing. This is so contemptibly stupid.

The more that comes out, the more it sounds like "all hat, no cattle" thinking with the small head, not the big one. Oh yeah? Well /I'd/ take a sword and cut off the Prime Minister's head! On national tv! After we take over the hq of CBC! and force them to work the cameras for us! While defending the barricades against the military forces that would storming uselessly against us!

Which is not to say they shouldn't be taken into custody before they hurt somebody. It just goes to show it doesn't take some bald guy petting a cat to cause trouble. Why bother with something so complicated? Wind up youngbloods into goading each other higher and higher until someone actually has to walk the talk, however messily, however irrationally, however irretrievably.

Same shit, different day for isolating, insulating gang think. What irks me MORE is the mob think out there gobbling in hysteria at the allegations of intent. Where are they when it's anglo-white people frothing murderously on the net about minorities and liberal hellspawn?

Has anyone else noticed the subtext of the reportage? Net neutrality is being quietly put on the table since it is being used so vigorously by the 'terrorist' community as instantaneous information and contact resources.

Goddamnmit -- on my other computer, the one I sold in Ocala, I had a screen capture of I think it was Analogue or some other right wing nut talking about how when Paul Martin came to visit Calagary on the campaign trail that he hoped somebody who was unhappy with the gun registry would shoot him.

I remarked upon this at the now blanked out - blank out times, at the time.

I have searched the blogoworld long and hard in the past hours to find it again... but I have come up dry.

Does anybody else remember this?

I think I also pointed out that ceremonial lynchings of the Prime Minister by angry Conservatives - which I believe I do have up at SDA2.0 is not remarked upon... when they were burning Paul Martin and his cabinent in effigy...

So... ok... let's see if I get this straight... hoping that somebody shoots the Prime Minister at a Pancake Breakfast in Calgary is ok, and burning the body of the Prime Minister in effigy is Ok -- but some 17 year old punk talking about beheading the Prime Minister is cause for a massive freakout..

oh... that's right --- I forget. They only care about people who harbour murderous intent or threats towards the prime minister if it's Stephen Harper. Such murderous intentions openly expressed towards Paul Martin were merely par for the course.

blech.
