The incredible shrinking terrorism case.

On your mark:

The operation was so complex and tightly shrouded that everyone involved — including all the roughly 400 police officers who scooped up the 17 suspected Islamic extremists Friday and Saturday ...

Get set:

All 12 men arrested for allegedly plotting a terrorist attack in Canada are facing one count each of participating in a terrorist group.

Um ... that doesn't sound good ... hang on ...

Mr. Dirie and Mr. Mohamed were already in jail serving two-year sentences for weapons smuggling when they were hit with new Canadian terrorism charges Friday.

Should we start a pool?

AH, NOW I GET IT. 17 suspects, but only 12 men -- the remaining five were youths. Never mind then. Carry on.

SUDDENLY, I don't feel so bad anymore given that this morning's CBC news coverage referred invariably to the 17 "men." Sure, it's a minor point, but it would be nice to see some consistency.

My Gut feeling tells me The RCMP definitely has "a few good men ..".... working For Stephen directly !!!
Remember the "bombshell ' when the elaction in December started with an RCMP investigation of the Liberal Finance minister's affairs?? Whatever happened with that story anyway???
Then Harper promised to give a big boost for the RCMP if he is elected??
And now RCMP delivers the goodies for Harper who is going to see his "AMERICAN IDOL " and MENTOR G. W BUSH In this month???? WHOA.. things get in line...
This 2 years old surveilance suddenly ripened ...
Pssst it is all secret!!!
something stinks here..
