"Time for a break" open thread.

The next day or three is going to be busy so I'm going to leave things in your capable hands. Have at it.

BONUS TRACK: Hard to believe but even the moron demographic is finally getting a clue. Note well how even the normally reliable conservative rabble are beginning to turn on the Chimpster. Apparently, there are still some functioning brain stems over there on the Right after all. Who knew?

YES, YES
, I'm getting back to work but I thought this last observation was worth sharing. Even fresh off of impeachment hearings, former president Bill Clinton had a approval rating of 73 per cent!

Latest opinion polls show that, post impeachment, Clinton's approval rating has jumped ten per cent to an all-time high 73 per cent, beating Ronald Reagan's record at the height of his popularity.

Think about that. After having himself and his family dragged through the mud for months, Clinton still had the approval of nearly three out of four Americans which, mathematically speaking, had to include a large number of Republicans.

On the other hand, despite his party running the White House, both houses of Congress, the judiciary and most of the traditional media (yes, I'm looking at you, Washington Post and New York Times), Commander Chimpy's popularity is plumbing record depths almost every week.

Better late than never, I guess, but it's sad that it took those imbeciles five years to figure it out. (Some of them, of course, will never figure it out, and you know exactly who I'm talking about, don't you?)
