Blogging Tory Short Takes: March 15, 2006.

Shorter Uncommon Truths: "Yeah, yeah, I'm sure that what she was saying was important or something. Whatever."

Shorter Kate McMillan: "I think it's important that we feel compassion for people of different ethnicities and colour, as long as they're not native Canadian aboriginals."

Shorter Dispatches from the Socialist Gulag: "I'm so sick of that biased liberal media. That's why I read the National Post."

Shorter Steve Janke: "I think it's disgusting that David Emerson protestors have taken to dumping manure outside his office. Have they no shame? Have they no decency? Have they no respect for the law? On the other hand, fire-bombing abortion clinics? That's different. It's a 'culture of life' thing."

Shorter dissonance and disrespect: "We must always resist the temptation to believe that a charge is proof of guilt, no matter how much our hearts desire human justice, however fallible, to be done."

(OK, that last one really was a direct quote. I just thought you'd appreciate the irony of it coming from a Blogging Tory.)
