Innocent until proven guilty?

There's almost certainly going to be a lot of sanctimonious preaching from the residents of Wankerville about how con arti... uh, former House majority leader Tom DeLay should be considered innocent until proven guilty and so on. Nice thought, except why is it then that some Republicans are scrambling to return some of the tainted money they received from DeLay's political action committee?

It has to be embarrassing when even your own colleagues start to back away slowly.
