It's all a matter of perspective.
Total cost of the Iraq war: $241 billion and counting, with the White House about to ask Congress for another $120 billion.
Total FEMA has paid out for hotel and motel rooms for Hurricane Katrina victims before finally ending the program and kicking those people out: $542 million. The fraction of the current total cost of the Iraq war: 1/5 of one per cent.
