Chronicles of Twatrick: Land title search.

I just received the information I was after from the entity that tracks all of the land titles in Saskatchewan, and the property that is Casa Ross is listed as still being in the names of Patrick's deceased parents, so it has clearly not gone anywhere, title-wise.

Interesting. One wonders what they're waiting for.

Well, it's in keeping with Patrick's general approach. Almost any way they might dispose of the property has drawbacks. Gotta pay taxes, maybe gotta pay Cynic, Patrick might have to pay rent, potential legal problems if there's some kind of deception going on. But they might figure none of that applies if they just . . . don't do anything. Maybe the horse will learn to talk.

"See Augray? You were being paranoid."

Okay, okay, point taken. And even if my scenario was correct, it only would have delayed the inevitable... not that Patrick or his dad would have realized that.
