Regarding yesterday's Holocaust Museum shooting, I was just having some fun back here:
Reported Kate McMillan of the Canadian blog Small Dead Animals, "I've never met the guy. Sure, we exchanged a couple e-mails and he's a big fan but, beyond that, nothing. Now get off my property! I've got a gun!"
And here's Jeffrey Goldberg, writing in The Atlantic:
I just called Mark Weber, the director of the Institute for Historical Review, the leading Holocaust denial organization in America, to ask him if he knew James Von Brunn, and to find out what he thought of the shooting at the Holocaust Museum. Weber said that the shooting is a "terrible and stupid and criminal thing, and any reasonable person would condemn it." He said he knew of Von Brunn because "people have sent me things from him, but that's all I know about it."
Creepy, isn't it?

It gets creepier. The alleged gunman von Brunn is a Mensa member. Doesn't KKKate show the Mensa logo at her site? (I refuse to visit her site to check.)
How could someone allegedly so smart act sooooooooo dumb?
I can imagine how this could play out--
Mark Weber (day 1): Never heard of James Von Brunn
Mark Weber (day 2): Oh right, that James Von Brunn... well, he sent me stuff but I didn't look at it...
Mark Weber (day 3): Wait--you found an autographed copy of one of his books in my library? Oh right, I met him once...
Mark Weber (day 4): He was at one of our meetings? Must've been in the back row...
Mark Weber (day 5): Golfing with him last year?? Never! Oh, the registration book says so?? Ummm... I don't recall... but never met him again!
Mark Weber (day 6): We had a lunch scheduled for this week???
Again, for the people who lack critical reading skills--I'm not saying that all of these things did happen, just ruminating...
