Welcome to the Manning Centre for We Know Where You Live, Dirtbag.

You run across the coolest stuff on Twitter:

Huh. Some interesting hashtags there ... like that one, "#roft". What's that all about? Oh, yeah:

So how are things over there at the Manning Centre, Stephen? Nice to see you hard at work, building democracy and everything. And if you ever figure out that part of democracy is the right to free speech and, maybe, the expectation of privacy, drop me a note. I definitely have some thoughts on that.

But I'll bet you knew that.

Is it not a sign of mental illness when you refer to yourself in the third person?
Or was that an attempt at being funny by Stephen?

The who "roft" is following are quite the the bunch....

I'm not saying that this guy is a pedophile but he does seem rather obsessed with NAMBLA

It's telling that the Manning Center would be following Richard.....

Christ on a Harley, I didn't even bother looking at the list of followers. That's adorable.

I'm resisting the urge to make a "#roft"/"NAMBLA" pun. 'Cuz that would be rude.

Anyone can add the tag to a Twitter message. I'm sure Taylor is completely unfazed by this.

That's probably true, Ti-Guy, but given that Stephen Taylor is responsible for unleashing the batshit crazy, racist, scientific illiterates that are the Blogging Tories on this country, it seems only fair that he should wear this at least a little bit.

Those deranged yahoos are his creation. Let him own them for a change.

Please ... that would require a little something called "accountability" and we all know how utterly foreign a concept that is to the BTs.

That's been his intention all along. That demographic was persuaded by the cabal Taylor is part of to believe that a liberal intellectual elite was preventing their ideas from getting the exposure they deserve, not because they're unpopular, illiberal, anti-democratic, intellectually and morally bankrupt or simply fringe, but because the liberal elite had a stranglehold over public discourse and feared populism.

Up until recently, that's been very successful. More successful than it would have been, mind you, if Taylor hadn't had all the help from Conservative Party/Manning Centre resources and taxpayer resources through the PMO.

It'll all come out eventually. I refuse to believe there haven't been thousands of ethical/moral (and maybe) legal breaches involved in this fraud...er...PR campaign.

So _that's_ your address, CC. Do you mind if I add you to my Christmas card list?
