Pot. Kettle. Not hard to connect the dots here.

Blogging Tory and diversity proponent Brian Lemon learns that there are some things even he can't handle:

Jason Kenny [sic] to Host BLACK ENGAGEMENT DAYS

I hate having to do this sort of thing, but until this gang starts using their brains, I will... This comes from the Ryan Sparrow School Of Communications Stupidity...

This is the most patronizing thing I have seen in my many, many years of observing politics.

And if anyone knows childish, offensive patronizing, it's Brian. He's kind of an authority on the subject.

I'm finding "pot/kettle" is pretty overused these days.

I think Lemon has a point. Conservatives are ass-backwards when it comes diversity.

One of the beauties about Canada's black community is its own diversity...blacks in Canada, in addition to coming from long-established communities in here, come from all over the world. I remember taking some friends from the anglophone Caribbean to Montreal and they were surprised that people addressed them in French. It wasn't until I explained that in Quebec, people generally assume black people speak French rather than English.

The Conservatives are only reaching out to "ethnics" to get votes. They don't really give a damn about diversity.

There is no diversity at these conferences. It's all a feel-good load of crap.

Brian, what you (or rather most Conservatives) do inherently makes a cynic happy. ;)

Well, credit where credit is due. Past and present.

humour>Just a quick note: evolution does not happen within one generation; it is a culmination of traits selected over hundreds and even thousands of generations.
Furthermore, one or two abberations from the norm are not usually statistically signifigant.

pot/kettle, evolve, perfect storm. As in, the BTs haven't evolved - they are still the perfect storm of pots calling the kettles blacks.
