She Speaks
Every year on the Sunday closest to March 8, Flush Ink Performing Arts in cooperation with the International Centre for Women Playwrights and the City of Kitchener presents "She Speaks", an evening of staged readings of short plays and excerpts of longer works by emerging and established women authors. The work is always interesting and compelling and covers the gamut of human emotion and theatrical style.
"She Speaks" will be taking place this evening, Sunday, March 8 in the Kitchener City Hall, Council Chambers at 200 King Street West in Kitchener. There is no fee for admission though we are accepting donations at the door, all of which will go to The Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo and to the International Centre for Women Playwrights. There will be talk back sessions with attending authors. Come on out and celebrate the living art of theatre in a relaxed and inclusive setting.
