alison at creekside is one of the best investigative bloggers in Canada, I think. Which makes this recent post by Chrystal Ocean at Challenging The Commonplace regarding good journalists abandoning corporate media & joining forces with serious muckracking upstarts to deliver truly newsworthy to the public through new independent media ventures, so appropriate.
Alison totally rocks - any media outlet would be lucky to have her. And I'm not just saying that because we're both ink-stained wretches at the same blog.
As far as cover-ups are concerned, what cover-up? They are even bothering to try to cover this up. The attitude of the mounties seems to be more along the lines of "Yeah, we killed him, so what?"
All four should be in jail, and the RCMP comissioner should be back walking a beat in Iqualawit.
