Are you fucking kidding me?

You know, I wouldn’t kick the mouthbreathing god-botherers quite so much if they didn’t provide me with a constant stream of ridiculous justification (emphasis gleefully added).

Mat Staver, dean of Liberty University's law school, says he does not believe Obama is the Antichrist, but he can see how others might. Obama's own use of religious rhetoric belies his liberal positions on abortion and traditional marriage, Staver says, positions that "religious conservatives believe will threaten their freedom." The people who believe Obama is the Antichrist are perhaps jumping to conclusions, but they're not nuts: "They are expressing a concern and a fear that is widely shared," Staver says.

Sorry Mat, old buddy, old pal, I’m going to have to respectfully disagree with that statement. In this girl’s opinion, these people are most definitely nuts.

I need a drink.

I'm still trying to figure out how "liberal positions on abortion and marriage" threaten the freedom of religious conservatives?

Honestly, how hard is it to understand "mind your own fucking business"?

Another mike here Edm, AB.

Okay, it goes like this. I decided that if I was so pissed at lack of resources for homeless and mentally ill, I had best do some volunteering.

I do so at a very christian shelter, fundamentalist so (the guy who runs it is pentacostal).

They help the vast majority, and they offer food and shelter with grace, and no expectation or judgement. Many people here work full time and just cannot find a place to stay due to the obscene lack of regulation for landlords that insist on the most pristine of reference history, and the (virtually) unbridled ability to increase rent. for instance, Boardwalk management, which seems to have taken over the rental market, raised rent for a bachelor suite from $729 with 6 mo. lease, to $929 - when I wasn't looking! No, within three months. Typical here in Edmonton.

However (caveat coming), if you wish to enter a treatment/get off the street program, you sign an agreement. It states that although it is a christian based program, you need only have an open mind and do not necessarily have to believe in god almighty or jesus the end all when it comes to righteousness.

HAH! Holy fuck, Batman! The true believers get given 'grace' for their transgressions (I mean relapse to drug use, selling hot merchandise, living off the avails, etc.)
If you don't apologetically spout the dogma and quote scripture in your repentance of your sinful ways....
CYA!

There is some good and desperately needed work done here, I cannot deny that by any stretch. Some are more worthy than others.
What fucking steams the shite out of me is that god basically rewards the subservient and docile (and mind-fuckingly gullible) and the mothers that trek 20 mile across congo desert and carry fifty pound bags of rice back to her village because she is desperately concerned her children are starving to death that she almost dies, starving is she herself - they never have an FUCKING ANSWER NOT ONE FUCKING WORD IN DIRECT REPLY that our spoiled asses in western opulent society deserve the easy life yet mothers get their cunt slashed open by janjaweed after watching their little daughters get raped and mutilated right in front of each others desperately, unfathomably, beyond comprehension at how they have to die like this.

Fucking fair weather fucks. Go volunteer for PFP, go fucking see what a beautiful and loving omniscient goofball has for an idea of mercy and grace.

I remind people that all we have is our mind. I tell them to never let go, that they have questions, and so they should.
I am subtle, and I have no business telling people how they should think or act, and yet, and yet, there is no sin in asking questions. I never have to shy away from addressing any question posed to me about how I think and why. Never.
So, I say, here is a question or two........
