So, when it comes to conservative morals and values, where exactly would you like to start?
CLIFTON PARK—Former Republican Congressman John Sweeney of Clifton Park has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop about 1:20 a.m. Sunday on the Adirondack Northway in Saratoga County near exit 8A.
State Police say Sweeney was operating a vehicle which nearly struck their police cruiser as they were responding to an unrelated call. Sweeney’s blew a .18, more than twice the state’s legal threshold of .08 blood alcohol content.
Police said that there was a young female in the car with Sweeney...
Sweeney lost his Congressional seat last year to Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand and claimed that her political camp was responsible for leaking a police report of a domestic violence call made on Dec. 2, 2005, by Sweeney’s wife. The call played a pivotal role in Sweeney’s campaign.
The Sweeneys were divorced earlier this year...
And, apparently, it's a family thang:
When Sweeney’s son, John Jr., was charged with second degree assault as a result of a fight in Stillwater on Aug. 19, 2004, which seriously injured the victim, he turned to Troy attorney E. Stewart Jones. Although his son could have faced up to seven years in prison for the vicious assault, he walked, escaping all jail time.
Hmmmm ... this is a definition of "accountability" and "actions have consqeuences" with which I am wholly unfamiliar.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Why, yes, there's more.
You're welcome.

What a useless bunch of wankers.
By the way Firefox® users, to get to CC's many SDA links, just right-click and "Open Link in New Window" and you by-pass Kate's supremely lame effort at link-blocking with minimal inconvenience.
Sorry, this comment actually belongs on the previous thread.
Damn pop-up windows!
"In 2001, he drove his Jeep into a telephone pole in the Adirondacks, shutting off electricity to the nearby Willard Mt. resort and stranding skiers on a chair lift." LOLLLL
Red Tory:
If I'm ever feeling masochistic enough to read SDA, I'll keep that in mind.
