The Democratic-controlled House voted Wednesday to increase the federal minimum wage to $7.25 (€5.58) an hour, bringing America's lowest-paid workers a crucial step closer to their first raise in a decade.

The problem with the minimum wage debate in the Blogosphere is that we don't hear from the people who will be affected. They are too busy working two jobs, and most likely don't have a computer, much less internet connections. There are many more people than the right counts who till be affected, because there are a LOT of folks making a few cents above minimum per hour.
Therefore, those who can and will stand up for them have a bigger share of responsibility in the online debate. Thank you CC for being in that corner.
