Misogyny? Who, me?

Oh, dear. From the comments back here, we have "anonymous" snarkily chiding yours truly regarding racist and/or misogynistic comments that allegedly appear on this blog from time to time.

Note to "anonymous": referring to Michelle Malkin as a "crazy-assed bitch™" is not misogynistic. This is misogynistic. See the difference?

Besides, the ink is ugly and the paper's from the wrong kind of tree.

One of the more amusing (and, let's be honest, irritating) characteristics of the wingnut-o-sphere is their unflagging ability to dismiss good, solid criticism for the stupidest, most meaningless and most contrived reasons imaginable.

The most common reason, of course, is that you're being "uncivil," or something of the sort. In responding to the typical dumbfuckitude of the Right, you might produce a rigorous, methodical and positively devastating evisceration of their latest idiotic claims but if, in the midst of that literary brilliance, you let slip a little smackdown like, oh, "dumbass," well, this just won't do, you're unhinged, you're deranged and vulgar and profane and there's just no point in even addressing what you've written, despite the fact that it may have been impeccable and irrefutable logic which tore someone a new orifice. Nope, you're a moonbat so everything else you've written can be ignored in its entirety, logic notwithstanding.

Another technique is to seize on even the smallest blunder to wax sarcastic and dismissive, sort of like what commenter "ktk" did back here:

And for the record when you copy the word of the day (misogynstic) try and spell it right. Maybe you just need to work on your 'word-itude'.

Oh, no! I misspelled "misogynistic" and therefore should be consigned to the scrap heap of ranting, frothing moonbats. Or something like that. (For the record, I am well aware of how "misogynistic" is spelled but, given that I typically type on the order of 80 words a minute, sometimes my fingers get ahead of the keyboard and slipups happen. Apparently, though, the same conservative wingnuts who perpetually write pure and unadulterated rubbish think it's appropriate to contemptuously wave away my contributions because I misspell the occasional word. Yes, that's what you might call "irony.")

The latest teeth-gnashing, right-wing escape hatch can be found here, where Garth Turner is entirely upfront as to where the inspiration of his recent post came from:

An interesting letter, sent to me Monday evening by a prominent member of the national media. He says, “An old university friend of mine, who wants to remain anonymous, passed on this letter to me, written as kind of an open appeal to Stephen Harper. It’s kind of funny, especially the Stephen King line, but I can’t figure out any way to use it in my paper. Maybe on your well-read blog?”...

... First, the Tory bloggers, or blogging Tories, as they officially group themselves on the world wide web. Seriously – have you looked at the hateful spite spewing out of these internet sites? It’s like graffiti you’d find in the washroom of a home for angry old men. They hate everyone. They loathe any woman on television. They detest people who live in cities, perhaps even anyone with indoor plumbing. They scream at anyone who doesn’t think like they do. Do yourself a favour, Mr. Harper: never look at the Small Dead Animals site. Stephen King should be suing these folks for plagiarism. They talk like the evil townsfolk in his horror novels.

The immediate wanker defense in the comments section is not long in coming:

Great blogging Garth. An anonymous letter passed along by an anonymous national media friend. The depths of credibility are mind-blowing.

and

Like a previous commentator said; it’s awfully convenient that an anonymous Conservative gave this complaint to an anonymous friend who passed it along to an anonymous (but prominent) member of the media who passed it along to you. You, at least, had the courage to put your name on that dubious chain of circumstances.

and

Garth tell us it wasn’t you who wrote that letter….sure sounds like it!!!Interesting that the author wants to remain anonymous….sounds fishy to me.

and

I have to agree with the Right Wing Wingnuterers here, a anonymous letter writer passed to and anonymous Reporter,… sigh, sorry Garth, it isn’t worth Bum Wipe.

Yes, how irresponsible of Turner to have passed on all that anonymity. After all, it's not as if anyone might, oh, pop over to SDA to corroborate all the spittle-flecked hatred for themselves, since that would be too much like work. No, better to just dismiss all of that even when all the evidence is available at the click of a mouse button, if you just got off your lazy goddamned ass and put the Cheetos aside for a minute.

I swear, if there's an easier job in the world than being an arrogant, little right-wing pundit and blowhard, I've yet to find it.

DEEP AFTERTHOUGHTS: I would be remiss if I didn't point out the absolutely most popular evasive strategy of the Right when confronted with that nasty, brutish thing called "reality" -- ignore it and move on.

It wasn't that long ago that the Blogging Tories site was purely awash with Bush worship. You couldn't swing a dead cat without whapping some BT gushing all over President FighterPilot CrotchBulge and his Global War on Terror™, and how the Democrats were all cut-and-run, cowardly Defeatocrats and on and on ... yadda yadda yadda.

My, how times have changed.

These days, you can barely keep up with the astonishing meltdown of the entire GOP, so delightfully documented at places like AmericaBlog, ThinkProgress, TalkingPointsMemo and others. It's literally almost impossible to keep an up-to date list of the Republicans who have resigned, or are being investigated, or have already been indicted, charged or just plain sent to prison, while subpoenas fall like rain. And the response from the BTs?

(*Crickets*)

I mean, seriously ... Alberto Gonzales? Never heard of him. But, by God, they are so all over Nancy Pelosi.

It's not that the BTs are necessarily stupid, or even dishonest. What they are is worthless. These days, you could read the entire aggregator and not realize that some guy named Alberto Gonzales is in a shitload of trouble for lying 24/7 to Congress. On the other hand, if you want to know all about Hillary Clinton -- who is neither under investigation nor being indicted nor being charged nor being sent to prison -- well, help yourself.

(As an aside, there are some Blogging Tories who are so obscenely biased, it crosses over from annoying into downright amusing, such as Dr. Roy Eappen who, while he apparently has no interest in Alberto Gonzales whatsoever, certainly found the time to keep his readers up to date on corrupt Democratic congressman William Jefferson. It's a priority thing, I guess.)

God help us all, the Blogging Tories are like a puppy with a ball and a blanket. As soon as their right-wing spin disappears, they sit up with a confused look on their faces, then wander off to find news that more fits their particular worldview, and please not to confuse them with facts.

There's a reason we like to refer to the "right-wing echo chamber." And it's not for the comedic effect.

Dear Five Feet of Crazy™:

Your oh-so-inappropriate, slavering man-crush on Canada’s Leading Assholeaka Mark Steyn has finally devolved into complete and utter hilarity. The fact that you would so blatantly hump his leg while still managing to get in a gratuitous, misogynistic swipe at women in general is too, too precious ... even for you.

I have an idea, you worthless shriek harpy, why don’t you take a page from Dr. Laura’s book and shut. The. Fuck. Up.

P.S. Money quote.

Don't question your intellectual betters, dear. "You're too short for that gesture..."

No, I’m not kidding.

With friends like this, who needs enemas?

And over at Garth Turner's blog (from which your humble scribe is getting a link from waaaaay down in the comments section), we learn that there may be some hope for Canada's conservatives yet, as Garth receives a copy of an anonymous missive that was allegedly sent to Prime Minister Mary Kay Eyeliner:

Dear Mr. Harper:

You don’t know me, but I am a long-time supporter of yours. My admiration stretches back to the time when you were a principled young MP with the Reform Party in the 1990s. I noticed you because you seemed smarter than the rest of the rabble. You always seemed slightly put off by the rhetorical and partisan excesses of politics. I thought, more than once, that one day you would make a fine prime minister.

Well, here it is, 2007 and you are prime minister. And from all indications, you have a pretty tight rein on the job and you say you’re enjoying yourself.

Yeah, yeah, let's get on with it, I'm starting to nod off here.

But I have to tell you something: your supporters are embarrassing you. It’s so bad, Stephen, that I no longer tell people I’m one of your fans, for fear of being associated with that bunch.

Ah, here we go ... the good stuff:

Well, hush my puppies. The Blogging Tories a bunch of hateful shrews? Well, I never. Although, I'm sure if you read some of them carefully, you might get that impression. You know, like here (as I've pointed out a couple times before)

Not to minimize the egregious wrongs committed by the Afghan police/military against their own countrymen in their own country -- but why are we supposed to care?

Or from further down that post in the comments section:

Just before reading this I watched a video on yahoo of a 12 year old taliban boy sawing the head off a taliban man who was accused of something or other.

These creatures may look human but they are not. They are lost to humanity. They should be given no consideration whatsoever. We shouldn't even be capturing them. They all should be shot on sight. All of them. Every single one. Until the plague of their existence is completely extinguished.

I'm not sure how you could top that last submission, but I'm guessing that The Politic's Aaron Unruh's good-natured dismissal of female genital mutilation might come close, or perhaps Kathy Shaidle's idea of a Toronto Saturday night good time, but that's just my opinion.

I'm thinking we'll be coming back to this later today, so all you Garthoids might want to pop back later. I'll try to be entertaining, in a Blogging Tory shrieking, spittle-flecked hatefest kind of way.

BY THE WAY
, I just now noticed that Aaron has quietly altered that page where he made fun of female genital mutilation. If memory serves, that post of his was particularly offensive since he tagged it as humour, a suggestion corroborated by commenter 3 there, who writes:

I guess Aaron thinks that female gender mulitation is funny, or at the very least “Amusing”.

And yet, if you look closely at the current version of that post, there is no such tag, suggesting that poor Aaron took such abuse that he carefully went in when no one was looking and deleted the tag so as to not look like the misogynstic misogynistic whackjob that we've all come to know and love.

I'm kinds busy at the moment, but if anyone wants to hunt down an old copy of that page to prove my point, I'd be ever so grateful.

BUSTED. Commenter "M@" gives us this web page, where you can see that, yes indeed, Spanky has been cropping bits of that post to make him seem less like, well, Spanky.

Note that, in addition to removing the embarrassing tag of "Amusing," Spanky's deleted the snotty opening of, "I swear that this is from some UN charter or something:".

Is this detective work exciting or what? By God, I feel like Steve Janke, but without the unseemly obsession with Cindy Sheehan's private parts.

Well, sure, if you look at it *that* way.

Rebel News' David Menzies wonders why more Ottawa eateries didn't take advantage of the sudden influx of violent, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, unmasked, unvaccinated troglodytes that descended on the city:

Tune in next week when David admits that the Holocaust might have had its downside, but all that confinement clearly gave Jewish families the chance for more quality together time, and if they didn't take advantage of that, well, that's on them.

IOKIYAD (It's OK if you're a dumbshit.)

Over at Dr. Dawg's (in the comments section), we learn that it's terribly, terribly unfair to tar the entire "pro-life" movement by the boorish, eliminationist sentiments of a single misogynistic jackass.

In other news, though, apparently every single Canadian progressive is a classless, uncivil cretin because CC wrote something rude a couple years ago and, by God, that one blog post is all we need to forever tar each and every Canadian "liberal" as a horrible, hateful, screeching moonbat leftard from now until the Antarctic ice caps melt.

I'm glad I could clear that up for you.

There’s ignorant and misogynistic …

And then there’s our gal Susie ALL-CAPS. Let’s just "shorter" this steaming pile of drooling, fetus-humping, hypocritical bullshit, shall we?

Feminists are bad, bad, bad. They're soooooooooooo bad that I feel perfectly justified in comparing them to white supremacists and 18th century slave owners. Now that’s bad.

Hey SUZANNE ... I’ve got a dirty F-word for you — fuck off. Seriously. Because your blatant contempt for women who have the unmitigated gall to think for themselves makes any argument you might put forward worth exactly nothing.

A reminder of what "fake news" looks like.

As of 3:55 p.m., today, March 26, when this is the story exploding in the U.S. on both mainstream and social media:

This is the level of absolute and utter worthlessness of both Ezra Levant and Rebel News. As if you needed any convincing.

Remember this when the the utter human garbage and piece of total shit that is Ezra Levant wants to lecture you on "bias."

P.S. On the other hand, you're free to read Ezra's 34,786 blog posts on the sleazy, racist, homophobic, misogynistic con man, scam artist, grifter and career lawbreaker "Pastor" Artur Pawlowski.

Father De Souza, SSM and religious persecution: Poor baby.

I realize this is beating a a dead horse -- well, actually, it's more like getting a shovel out of the garage and going out to the backyard and digging up the putrifying corpse, then taking a few good whacks at it -- but the National Post's resident shrieking wingnut Father Raymond De Souza irritates me so much, I just want to feed his idiotic, Catholic whining through the woodchipper one more time.

As you might have read here recently, De Souza seems to think that the existence of same-sex marriage in Canada represents a significant curtailing of religious "liberty." To which one can justifiably respond, OK, let's enumerate precisely the ways that Canadian SSM puts a crimp in the good father's homophobic, bigoted lifestyle, shall we?

  • Is De Souza or anyone else from the Catholic Church required to perform SSMs within the religious context of the Church? No.

  • Is De Souza required to publicly condone SSMs? No.

  • Is De Souza or anyone else from his annoying religion required to ever attend a same-sex marriage? No.

  • Is De Souza required, in any way, shape or form, forced to ever associate with gays within the context of his Church? No.

  • Does SSM in Canada force De Souza (or any other Catholic) to, in any way, restructure their religious freedom or, in any way, curtail their "liberty" to worship their vengeful, misogynistic, baby-killing God? No.

So what exactly has De Souza's robe in a knot? Oh, right -- the fact that, if you accept a position as a civil marriage commissioner, you're simply expected to do your freakin' job. You know, according to the actual job description.

Yes, one can certainly sympathize with De Souza's heart-rending persecution here. It's hard to imagine how he even handles the emotional trauma. By George, one suspects that, given the level of grief, he might need an altar boy or two just to put a smile back on his face.

Poor baby.

About the Crypto King of Carleton and the #MGTOW YouTube tag.

One issue lost in the current dust-up related to Pierre Poilievre's apparent tagging of YouTube videos with the appalling and misogynistic "#MGTOW" ("Men Going Their Own Way") is whether Skippy has, at any time, assured everyone that he is going to find out who's responsible.

There's been plenty of, "Of course I condemn all that, and I had all that cleaned up the instant I learned of it, and yadda yadda yadda", but has Poilievre at any time promised that he is damned well going to figure out who added those tags, because if that had been my YouTube account, and I discovered that hundreds of my videos had been contaminated with that filth, you can bet I'd be hunting for whoever did it, but I don't believe we've seen any such outrage from Pierre, have we?

Lots of vacuous, "I of course denounce that sort of thing," but precious little of, "Someone is going to be held accountable." How very ... Skippy.

JUXTAPOSE!

Dumbass fucking pieces of misogynistic human garbage who, for years, praised a First Lady who was a classless slut and porn star, now condescendingly demean the academic accomplishments of Dr. Jill Biden.

Friday, March 06, 2009

That is the outside of enough.

Dear SUZANNE:

After reading your disgusting, mouthbreathing equivocations in reaction to this horror, you can shut the fuck up forever, you heartless, misogynistic bitch.

I weep for your children.

Contemptuously yours,
LuLu

And furthermore ... How the fuck does any sane person use the word "allegedly" when describing the rape of a 9-year-old girl? I need a drink.

And further furthermore ... JJ's all over this.

Chronicles of Twatrick: Racist or misogynistic? You make the call.

And sometimes, people just give up trying to hide their racism and misogyny:

Friday, February 11, 2022

Chronicles of Twatrick: The shit just keeps coming.

A (slightly-edited) chunk of prose just received from Patrick Ross arch-nemesis Peter Skinner of Edmonton, who Lord Baron Twatrick von Loadenhosen is currently suing for one million dollars for making fun of him:

Just got off the phone with OSB [Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy].

They are updating the court in relation to Patrick's lawsuit that not only does he not have standing on his own (no trustee to file or transfer to him, and still very undischarged) but his service address is worthless because he's failed to answer any letter mail from them. He refuses to take their calls as well.

Once it's in place, I'm told I will get an automatic copy from the courts as will Patrick.

The woman who called this morning was someone higher in the food chain than my previous guy, and she said this should have been done on my behalf months ago.

With all that said, a judge makes the final determination on proceeding but whenever they've gotten involved the justice usually kicks it out of court and awards costs to the defendant. Patrick, if given the opportunity to pay surety, he can't. He's still an undischarged bankrupt and no matter the amount of surety, that money should be going to you.

Being Patrick broke his bankruptcy terms and you've had him removed from protections, any money left over from his basic living expenses should be turned over to his trustee or the sheriff who's in the process of seizing money/property.

And if Patrick thinks it can't get any worse, well, I have bad news for him ...

AFTERSNARK: There is some entertainment value in realizing that Patrick's idiotic attempt at inconveniencing Peter Skinner with that asinine million-dollar defamation lawsuit is now going to blow back on him in that not only will it be kicked to the curb but Peter will be awarded costs of (probably) a couple thousand, which Patrick will (naturally) refuse to pay, destroying his credit rating even further (if that is even physically possible at this point).

It's tempting to enumerate the myriad ways in which Patrick has thoroughly fucked up his life, but the capper is that Patrick is currently hiding out from Canada's Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, which is (theoretically) the only entity I am aware of that might be able to help Patrick salvage what little remains of his sad-sack, bankrupt, debt-laden, misogynistic existence. And they are really, really, really fucking pissed off with him.

Truth be told, once upon a time, I had a modicum of sympathy for Patrick, given that he is clearly not all there, and I went out of my way to give him countless chances to make amends and deal with this.

Not anymore.

Now I am going to devote whatever there is of my infrequent spare time to trashing his pathetic life, perhaps as a lesson to the other arrogant, self-obsessed incels out there who think they can pull shit like this year after year. And I am in no rush. Everything Patrick does is designed for immediate gratification and short-term victories, while I am choosing to take the long view. Given that Patrick's father is reportedly in questionable health, it is only a matter of time before Patrick's life takes a very ugly turn for the worse when there is no one there to protect and enable him.

And I will be waiting.

P.S. And if Patrick thinks it can't get any worse, I am still in the market for any information as to where he works these days, because once I identify his employer, I can assure you, things will get worse. Much, much worse.

Yeaaahhhh ... how's that working out these days?

P.P.S. By the way, what Patrick claimed above is a lie, which is easily provable in a couple of ways.

First, no remotely sane lawyer would have ever said that to Patrick, given that there is absolutely no basis for that position. No sane lawyer would have examined my 2010 judgment against Patrick, then advised him that he had nothing to worry about. That is simply unthinkable.

More to the point, if Patrick had retained a lawyer, then it would have been that lawyer corresponding with my lawyer at the time, and that never happened.

So Patrick lied. I'm sure you're shocked.

We're not done here.

Shorter Ass Monkey.

I am an ignorant, misogynistic, homophobic oaf. But you already knew that.

This could conceivably be called the trifecta of bigotry. Teh Ass Monkey should really consider hanging up his blogging chops and moving on - he’s got nowhere to go but down.

Christ Jesus. Five Feet of Crazy™ jumps on the bias bandwagon at KKKate’s cesspool.

JUXTAPOSE!

Hypocritical, hate-spewing goober who literally delivered donuts to occupying force of abusive, harassing, misogynistic bigots, racists and white nationalists in Ottawa is now outraged by the act of a single Muslim:

Tuesday, August 19, 2008

Because some things are just too important to be left to the niggers.

Longer SDA guest-blogger "The Greek": "Sure, John McCain might be an addled, senile, confused, hypocritical, two-faced, flip-flopping, sleazy political opportunist and misogynistic adulterer. But come on -- at least he's not black."

OK, I'm sure The Greek was thinking that last part.

Ezra Levant: The lying continues.

Fresh off publicly announcing monetary "bounties" on health care professionals, Rebel News' Ezra Levant is doubling down on the rationale for doing it but, in addition, Ezra subsequently posted one of the most curious (and rancidly dishonest) defenses of his douchebaggery. I give you (emphasis tail-waggingly added):

This is, of course, absolute rubbish as -- over the years -- Ezra has used his bully pulpit and his racist, misogynistic troupe of flying monkeys to attack and encourage the harassment of perfectly private citizens on a number of occasions, of which I will gift you with just one:

Predictably, Ezra could not let pass the opportunity to slime and mock and demean a mother who simply wanted to take her 7-year-old son to see the Prime Minister:

Exactly as he wished, Ezra's troglodyte followers wasted no time in getting the message and piling on:

So, no ... Ezra does not respect any sort of private/public boundaries when he decides that someone he disagrees with (or just wants to mock for the entertainment value) needs a good dose of online abuse, harassment and/or death threats. He simply points in the general direction, and his online gang of mouth-breathing bullies does the rest, whereupon Ezra sits back and smirks, "Hey, I never told anyone to do anything," knowing full well that's exactly what he was suggesting.

I have other examples if it becomes necessary.

OK, that's just weird.

Over at Blogging Tory blog "Celestial Junk," one Paul E. Marek of Saskatoon blogs, well, I can't figure this one out. As I read it, Mr. Marek blatantly steals someone else's work to demonstrate ... what? That Hillary Clinton was attacked ruthlessly and misogynistically while on the campaign trail. Over and over again. Repeatedly.

Marek's point is not at all clear, since it seems to undercut all those whiners who are bitching about the "misogynistic" attacks on Sarah Palin, despite the fact that Sarah Palin really is a duplicitious, unethical, cowardly cretin and misogyny has nothing to do with it. So what's Marek's point? Am I missing something here? Or is Marek just so stupid that he has no idea he's made our argument for us?

WOW
... in case there was any doubt about Mr. Marek's mental instability, you need to read this. Obama Derangement Syndrome much, Paul?

This is why I fight.

There are those who would have you believe that the Morgentaler decision was the beginning of the end for civilized society in Canada. They are convinced that this was an immoral affront to good people everywhere that must be overturned by any means necessary. In the last 30 years, the following violent attacks have been perpetrated by extremist pro-life factions in the United States and Canada:

• 7 murders, including three doctors, two clinic employees, a security guard, and an escort;
• 17 attempted murders;
• 383 death threats;
• 153 incidents of assault and battery;
• 3 kidnappings;
• 41 bombings;
• 173 arsons;
• 91 attempted bombings or arsons;
• 619 bomb threats;
• 655 bioterror attacks (all hoaxes), 554 of which were committed by one man;
• 1630 incidents of trespassing;
• 1264 incidents of vandalism; and
• 100 attacks with butyric acid stink bombs.

Their complaints that they’ve been silenced are plastered across national newspapers and on cars covered with abortion porn and on street corners in front of clinics but still they play the victim. They lie. And this is why I fight.

These supposedly morally superior people consider themselves “pro-life” warriors on a mission from God and accuse those who disagree with them of being “pro-death”. They use terms like “pro-aborts” and “poor choicers” to describe anyone who believes that a woman has a fundamental right to choose what happens to her body, convinced that only they know best. They argue that it isn’t a matter of choice at all even as they seek to impose their views and their choices on everyone. They refer to the pro-choice movement as one that embraces a “culture of death”, while holding themselves up as defenders of the very sanctity of life. But this doesn’t seem to stop them from standing outside clinics and screaming accusations of “baby killer” at women struggling with a decision that is no one’s business but their own as they attempt to enter those very same clinics.

Their so-called “pro-life” movement is comprised of the worst sorts of hypocrites and they need to be called on it at every opportunity. Their ultimate goal is to ensure that women everywhere will be left with choices that only they approve of ... which would be no choice at all. They do not now, nor will they ever, speak for me. And this is why I will never stop fighting.

Some further musings. My son turned 18 in December and it got me thinking about a lot of things. I was barely older than he is now when I found out I was pregnant. After the initial “holy fuck” reaction, I explored my options and made my choice. Clueless know-it-all brat that I was, I chose to have him. Raising him on my own is the hardest thing that I have ever done and I have an incredible support structure in my parents, sisters and extended family and friends. I love him endlessly but how much of that love is predicated on the fact that his birth was a choice I made and not one that I was forced to make? Probably none. I’d like to think that my boundless love for him is instinctive but we’ll never know, will we? Because I had choices.

Essentially, that’s what this fight is all about. I wish every pregnancy was planned and eagerly anticipated, but that just isn’t reality. There’s always the possibility that some woman is staring at that little blue stick thinking “What do I do now?” She needs choices ... so it’s up to us to make sure that the misogynistic hypocrites in the pro-life movement are never allowed to speak for her.
