Christian Barbarians!

Unable to contain their primitive lusts, even in a sacred place, blood thirsty Christians once again prove that their irrational tempers make them unfit for polite society.

Hahaha! Get 'em monkey boys. What was that about the Prince of Peace? See what happens when you start believing all that crazy sky buddy stuff.

I was under the impression they were Jewish monks in Israel. Or is this a different group?

Christ, the people who claim so often it seems to act in that name tend to be the zealots who'd have crucified the man back in the day. Today, they'd denounce his as some sort of pinko commie revolutionary t'rist, and pack him off to Gitmo or at least bomb his village from a great height. Especially if it was in the ME. So, oh, they have to mix up Jesus (who was probably closer to Gandhi and MLK then some supernatural being) with a bunch of classical warrior skygod fantasy and pack in into a book so they can overcome all that hippie Jesus stuff by referencing other people in order to find excuses to oppress, judge and condemn people not like them. Because even though they claim the name of Jesus, they are really a spiteful pile of bigots who have found a way to justify their bigotry and violence by citing Jesus and calling it love when they enact it. I suspect this internal contradiction eventually results in a black and rotten soul.

I wonder sometimes, if that deep down, these people are terrified by existence really just want a warm cuppa and someone to tell them it's all going to be alright.

or a bouncy nun to put them over her latex clad knee and give them a proper spanking whilst telling them they've been very, very naughty. who can tell? i especially like the one fellow in the long red dress, er, robes as he dives toward the other character only to get a punch in the nogging from a burly copper.

and kelseigh, i believe this dust up is greek orthodox versus armenian monks in the battle of the holy sepulchre. just remember, religion doesn't kill people, religious people kill people.

Ahh, I see where I went wrong. I skimmed this story a few days ago, but didn't think too much else of it since then. Blame my faulty memory, then.

Well, that's just what happens when you have fake christians running the holy places.

Or have the evangelical protestant baptists changed their collective mind about roman catholics and fellow travellers not being real christians?

We really need a definitive ruling for eternity on this matter, from someone who regularly speaks "ex cathedra" on all matters.

Yoo hoo, Sarah?
