Your Honour, I give you ... Exhibit B.

You know, it weren't that long ago that I suggested that perennial CC HQ whipping boy and all-round dingbat Weiner Pratfall was, well, a screaming bigot:

> From: "W Patels"
> To: [DELETED FOR PRIVACY],
> Subject: Stay away
> Date: Sun, 14 Oct 2007 14:40:01 -0600
>
> Don' bother replying because you are blacklisted by
> the ISP and so none of
> your messages will ever make it through.
>
> I have deleted all your stupid comments
>
> Stay the fuck away from my websites, you
> motherfucker! You are a fucking
> psychopath and probably a fucking Paki!
>
>
> Now go and fuck off you stinking fucking Paki!

Not surprisingly, since the above had been reproduced from an e-mail forwarded to me privately, Weiner Boy took exception:

Not that it matters, because you lefties are so full of BS that you won't believe me anyway, but I'd just like to point out that this "email" is a fake, fabricated either by Canadian Cynic or anyone else with a grudge.

Sadly, poor Weiner just can't control that raging beast within (emphasis tail-waggingly added):

Tasered! Good riddance!

Airport security called the Mounties for assistance after an unidentified man began pounding on windows and throwing chairs and computer equipment in the customs area shortly after arriving on an international flight [...] Few other details have been disclosed other than the man spoke an Eastern European language and a flight from Poland touched down about an hour before the incident [...]

Figures, par for the course. I know it sounds harsh and heartless, but given what I know about people like that (and the problems they are causing in Western Europe on a daily basis), I am actually glad that he won't be our problem anymore.

The Spade's Weiner Pratfall: one of Canada's leading political pundits. And now you know why.

IF THE IRONY WERE ANY THICKER
... Amusingly, at that very blog post, the Big Weiner is forced into an apology thusly:

I have to apologize for my previous statements regarding this case. I spoke too soon and too quickly before even having all the facts in this case.

Which, unfortunately, doesn't stop him in the very next paragraph from denigrating readers who "are too lazy to click on the link." Yes, Weiner, you are the very person who should be lecturing us on laziness.

Eventually, you know that I'm going to go blind reading stuff like that, and you'll all have to support me. I'm just sayin'.

We really do have to come to the conclusion that most rightwingers don't actually support the principle of "innocent until proven guilty." Quite the opposite. I think it's basic to their way of thinking...believing something without having any way of knowing (ie. through facts based on credible evidence.) That's why most of them sound so irrational.

Wiener's an extreme case of course (clinically psychotic) but that doesn't seem to register that strongly with the rightwingers.

Nonsense, dear boy. Why, some of them support the principle of "innocent long AFTER proven guilty."

I give you Dr. Roy and Conrad Black.

I forgot that corollary. Thank you for pointing it out.

Dr. Roy and Conrad are just examples of IOKIYAC.

You have to apply that rule to EVERYTHING. So therefore, you are guilty before being proven innocent unless you are a conservative.

Innocent until proven guilty?

How 20th Century!

Today, we have the principle of administrative regularity.

Under the principle of administrative regularity, a well-trained and loyal mountie, acting in good faith, following the regular procedures for obtaining intelligence, is presumed to have reached the right decision. Of course, if you're the kind of person who wants to complain, you can appeal to the High Court. But let's not forget that in an appeal, the burden if on the appellant to show that the original decision-maker has made a reversible error.

In Weiner's world there's also "guilty after proven innocent."

The ugly little piece of shit still says that Arar is lying.

And that "commonsense conservative" whining cry-baby fuck-face who linked approvingly to him the other day still hasn't posted my critique.

We should keep him up to date on his hero's latest atrocities.

Hmm, Werner is from Austria, no? Wouldn't that make him a Vienna sausage?
