Bye bye, Rachel.

Apparently, good things really do come in threes. First, there was Rachel Marsden's quiet departure from the National Post not long after, well, this delightful production; then she turned out to be too demented even for Fox; and, finally, well, yeah, you knew it was just a matter of time:

Sun Media Column Statement:

"Attention terrorists and Islamofascists: You can now read the Toronto Sun without having your delicate sensibilities offended, as my weekly column is no longer with Sun Media.

Which inspires the obvious question -- who will have the requisite lack of any sense whatsoever to give Rachel a job now?

Ah, Ezra, where are you when we need you?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Sometimes, I really love me some blogosphere.

LA MARSDEN'S GREATEST HITS: Really, it might worth doing an entire series. I'd start here although, come to think of it, that might be a tough act to follow, douchebaggery-wise.

Maybe that email to The Sun actually worked :)

What a classy exit.

Anyway, too little too late. Any half decent editor would have seen this coming and if the Toronto Sun took a hit to its bottom line, whoever is responsible for that should lose his or her job. Or at least get an F somewhere on the next performance evaluation.

...Anyway, any guesses on who she's gonna stalk over this?

And now you understand why I blog anonymously.

Hopefully CNN won't be inviting her back. Thanks for the link again btw.

I saw that Julia Roberts rip-off years ago. I mean, the psycho Marsden even stole the hair!

As I recall, she didn't even mention it on her site, which would have provided a few laughs, but Marsden understands humour in the way Ann Coulter does.

Kind of you to worry about her employment prospects.
She'll pop up at the Hudson Institute or some other rightwing village in need of an extra idiot.
Wingnut welfare won't let such a great talent go to waste.

Good Jeebus, this is great news. I'm heading for my bottle of sake forthwith.

She could apply for work with Saskatchewan's new right wing government! I can see a future 'director of communications' gig for her!
