Rebel News gets results!

The medical experts at Rebel News still pushing alternative COVID-19 "treatments" like hydroxychloroquine and livestock de-wormer ivermectin:

What could possibly go wrong? OK, besides that ...

Tune in tomorrow when another restaurant takes Rebel's advice about vaccine passports, and has to close.

The stupid ... it burns ...

 Um ...

"I speed through school zones all the time and haven't hit a kid yet. So what's with all these stupid speed limits?"

That's the level of dumbfuck stupid we're talking about here.

The lack of self-awareness is mind-bending.

Yes, feel free to lecture us on hiding from libel suits.

The mind reels. Seriously, it reels.

P.S. At the moment, Lloydminster's Lord Baron Twatrick von Loadenhosen appears to be lashing out, threatening to sue various people for ... who the hell knows? But in his arrogant bloviating, he seems to have crossed yet another line in terms of online defamation.

Witness this recent tweet:

Now, while Patrick has apparently given a number of people a deadline, after which he claims he will launch legal action, he is currently referring to these people as some variant of "defendant." I am not a lawyer, but it seems to me that, unless you have actually been officially served, describing you as a "defendant" is massively defamatory. I can assure you that if I had never been legally served in any way, anyone who publicly denigrated me as a "defendant" would be hearing from my lawyer in short order.

But that's just me.

Rebel News gets results!

Hamilton's Nique Restaurant takes medical and public policy advice from Ezra Levant and Rebel News and refuses to enforce vaccine passports:

What could possibly go wrong? Well, besides that ...

That's OK ... Rebel News undoubtedly milked the publicity for $3.7 million before driving the eatery into insolvency.

*Shrug*.

AFTERSNARK: There's something karmic about Rebel News actually convincing a business to do the stupidest thing possible that drove it out of business, while Rebel still came out of it with the publicity and the fundraising. We need more of that. Seriously, we need more examples of people or businesses that listen to Ezra Levant going under. It would be a lesson except that we're talking about people too fucking stupid to learn a lesson.

PREDICTION: Damn, I almost forgot ... let's watch for Der Rebel to blame the dumbfuck stupid-inspired implosion of Nique on, say, the "intolerant, Marxist, woke-vax, fascist Left," and not on, say, the stupidity of the people who run Nique.

JUXTAPOSE!

Awesome. Now do abortion.

Sure, it's JUST like the Holocaust.

If anti-vaxxers want to keep equating vaccine passports with the Holocaust, then I suggest the proper analogy is the Nazis asking Jews for their papers, and if they can't provide them, then they won't be allowed to board that cattle car.

I'm glad we had this little chat.

Well, well, well ... if it isn't the consequences of my actions.

The latest pathetic shrieking from Rebel News' David "The Menses" Menzies regarding an eatery that was so fucking stupid as to take his advice:

Here, let me summarize the above for you. Dumbass restaurant owner wants to go all "freedom, liberty, no medical apartheid or segregation," thinking it will make him a local hero, and finds out the hard way that people have little interest in frequenting an eatery where they will potentially interact with either virus-spewing plague rat serving staff who might have just coughed on their food back in the kitchen, or someone at the next table spraying a deadly virus into the air while they're trying to have a quiet meal with their 82-YO grandmother just home from the hospital with a weakened immune system.

I think I summarized that reasonably.

Predictably, Menzies showed up to offer his support and milk the moment for fundraising, despite no apparent promise to help the idiot restauranteur:

As for owner Hennick's dream of being praised as a selfless martyr standing up to The Man in defense of freedomness and libertitude, well, welcome to the consequences of your dumbfuck stupidity:

But, sure, if you need any more business advice, I'm sure you now have David Menzies' number. Good luck with that.

P.S. It's moderately amusing to hear someone from Ezra Levant's Rebel News go all "How dare the public take a stand and organize, you know, a boycott or something?" Yeah, about that:

So ... there's that.

P.P.S. David Menzies is lying. Note how he clearly suggests that the departure of some Nique staff was due to harassment from the "woke-vax community":

That's bullshit -- as documented in this CBC article, staff bailed due to pressure from vulnerable family members, who had no interest in Nique employees coming home and infecting the rest of them:

It's just Dave being Dave.

I'M SURE THIS WILL END WELL: Apparently, Nique's owner does not take kindly to people worried about their health:

And thanks for coming.

DAVID MENZIES -- STILL LYING: Over at Der Rebel, Menzies doubles down on his lie that it was social media that drove out Nique's kitchen staff:

when even Nique's owner concedes that it was their family members that put the pressure on:

Once again, just Dave being Dave.

Once again, I called it.

In a recent post, I speculated wildly on how Rebel News came to hook up with hate preacher "Pastor Art" Pawlowski as the basis for grifting^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hfundraising what appears to be well over a million dollars by now, and I gifted you with the following paragraph:

In the most timely fashion imaginable, I just this minute received from Rebel News' in-house troll Sheila Gunn Reid an e-mail, predictably begging for more money, but opening literally with the following words [emphasis added]:

The Pastor Artur Pawlowski saga has made the defiant and outspoken pastor a household name ...

Which is, of course, the whole point ... find a pathetic narcissist and keep feeding that narcissism as long as he keeps being a cash cow.

It's tough being right about everything all the time, but I do it because I love you all.

Looking for the meatspace co-ordinates of Patrick Ross.

Even though it's still several weeks before the hammer drops on Lloydminster's Lord Baron Twatrick von Loadenhosen, I want to stay current with his whereabouts so that we have the most up-to-date information we can hand to the collection arm of the Saskatchewan Sheriffs Department when they finally get to his file in their in-box. To that end, I'm after anything folks can tell me about his current employer, where he is staying when on contract in Grande Prairie, AB and so on.

As I understand, Patrick has a convenient habit of bragging on his Facebook account about where he's been, what restaurants he's just eaten at, what social event he has just attended, and so on and so forth. I don't do Facebook, so anyone who does is invited to check in on him on an occasional basis and let me know what sort of idiocy he's up to.

I already have his bank account number and bank branch address so I'm good there, but it would be useful to keep abreast of his current travels. And don't put any of that in the comments section; e-mail it to me at canadiancynic@yahoo.ca, and I'll take it from there.

Well, there is that other video ...

Here's Rebel News, going all "What THE MAN doesn't want you to watch" ...

Personally, I'm more interested in the video of Rebel News' Avi Yemini assaulting his wife with a cutting board:

We now return you to your regular programming of Rebel News being totally outraged by "leftist violence."

JUXTAPOSE!

It is fascinating how Canada's right wingers -- historically prejudiced against indigenous people, blacks, Muslims, immigrants, gays, trans people and numerous other social groups -- are suddenly vocally opposed to "medical" discrimination.

Oh, man, this would be entertaining.

"Real conservatism," you say?

"More residential schools and fewer womens' reproductive rights!" does not sound like a winning slogan but, hey, what do I know?

JUXTAPOSE!

Rebel News' Ezra Levant, whose "media outlet" specializes in ambush journalism that regularly ends in violence and David Menzies getting arrested, and once had ex-Rebeler Keean Bexte chasing a creeped-out Greta Thunberg down a hotel corridor:

is now totally outraged over (*checks notes*) ambush journalism:

OK, then.

Probably not the best investment an undischarged bankrupt might make.

It would appear that Lloydminster's Patrick Ross is preparing for the pending collection proceedings by blowing all his money on ... I have no idea what the hell that is.

But screenshots of all this expensive frivolity is being passed on to my lawyer, and hence to the collection enforcement officers, who will undoubtedly wonder exactly how someone who is not supposed to have a credit card is managing stuff like this.

Oh, the humanity!

When it gets to the point where you can't even go to a karaoke bar and belt out a Bon Jovi tune while spewing coronavirus all over the first three rows of tables, well, that's not a Canada I want to live in.

P.S. Dear God, the comments.

Grift: It's a living.

At this point, it behooves us all to ask, who the hell is getting stinking rich off of all this "Save Pastor Art!" Rebel News nonsense? Because when one takes even a moderately close look at the money involved, someone is walking away with an assload of cash.

Based on the publicly-viewable online fundraisers related to "Pastor Art," even cursory, back of the condom wrapper arithmetic suggests that easily over a million dollars has been collected to keep Pastor Art in sacramental wine and wafers. But where is all this money going?

Well, it's common knowledge that at least a couple hundred grand is being trousered by the monumentally incompetent law students from JSS Barristers repping Pastor Art -- people who can't even keep track of whether there is an arrest warrant out for their client. But here's the thigh-suckingly astonishing part of this ridiculous saga: all of this is in aid of avoiding ... 3 weeks in jail and perhaps $17,000 in fines and costs:

Let's go back and read that again -- what appears to be over a million dollars has been hoovered up in order to avoid a minimal jail sentence and only several thousand dollars in fines and costs, for a case that has absolutely no strategic litigation value whatsoever. None. Zero. Which leads one to ask ... who is getting rich off of this? So let me speculate wildly and irresponsibly based on no evidence whatsoever.

If I was looking to make a killing off of terminally gullible people, I would first find a martyr who lives for public attention and is not afraid to make an ass of himself in the media for the sake of notoriety.

Hello, Pastor Art.

I would then do the arithmetic and, with a million bucks to play with and fine print saying I could do anything I wanted with it, I would tell Pastor Art that, out of that cool million, I'd give him $100,000 -- no, let's be generous, $200,000 -- if he'd be willing to be the public face of pathetic Christian victimhood, and possibly go to jail for a few weeks. In addition, he'd get to be stupidly fucking famous, and go on a four-month tour of the U.S., schmoozing with the scum de la scum of American right-wing nuttiness and griftitude.

Would you take that offer?

Would you take, say, $200,000, to go to jail for 21 days, knowing that it would almost certainly be minimum-security and you'd be pampered up the ass for that entire three weeks, with the guarantee that you had a whopping big cheque waiting for you when you got out? Leaving everyone else involved to divvy up the remaining $800,000, of course.

Again, this is all rampant, idiotic speculation, but if someone offered to stuff a couple hundred grand up my butt to spend three weeks in moderately comfortable incarceration, I'm pretty sure I'd take that deal.

I'm sure none of the above actually happened. Forget I said anything. Carry on.

P.S. Is it worth asking who funded Pastor Art's four-month American vacation? Because if it came from "The Democracy Fund," I'm pretty sure those donations would not be eligible for charitable tax receipts.

I'm just throwing that out there.

P.P.S. We're not even close to being done with "The Democracy Fund."

Sunday, October 03, 2021

You keep using that phrase "strategic litigation" ...

[DUH: Not sure what I was thinking when I kept typing "legislation" instead of "litigation."]

Recall, if you will, when I pointed out back here that Rebel News' current grift of soliciting donations for thousands of individual, unrelated cases did not rise to the level of "strategic litigation" that was quite clearly part of the mandate of the mysterious "Democracy Fund," who are promising to hand out charitable tax receipts like mini Kit-Kat bars on Halloween on behalf of a totally independent organization in contravention of CRA rules ... but that's not why we're here.

Hilariously, only hours after I had published that earlier post explaining what does and does not constitute strategic litigation, I received a personal e-mail from Rebel News "Alberta Bureau Chief" and oil patch trailer trash Sheila Gunn Reid, really, really, really harping on how they were now really, really, really concentrating on strategic litigation. I'm sure the timing was just a coincidence, but it was entertaining nonetheless.

In any event, so we can all assume that Rebel News is bailing on all those irrelevant cases and is now focused laser-like on cases that actually fit the definition of "strategic litigation?" Well, no.

One need only visit Rebel News' "Vaccine Passports Legal Cases" page to appreciate that nothing there even remotely rises to the level of strategic litigation (below is the entire content of that page, in case you think I'm carefully omitting data):

Let us disembowel the above nonsense the way David Menzies guts the truth, shall we? First, half of those cases clearly involve extraordinary circumstances:

  • adverse reaction to vaccine
  • pre-existing medical condition
  • works remotely

None of the above three cases can be the basis of general strategic litigation as they are founded on clearly unusual circumstances that in no way can be used as the basis for wide-sweeping jurisprudence. The rest of the cases don't seem to have any particular general value, either -- where is the "strategic litigation" value in a burger joint being fined for violating basic pandemic lockdown regulations?

In short, there is still no "strategic litigation" on the table here, but as long as one assumes that Rebel News' target audience probably still has trouble figuring out how to change the clock on their VCR, I suspect Der Rebel is still going to rake in millions.

There is always a market for stupid.

Taking legal advice from Rebel News: What could possibly go wrong?

Well ... besides that ...

You. Voted. For. This. Shit.

It's truly stunning how often the citizenry will elect a right-wing twatwaffle, then subsequently act surprised when everything goes to shit. And they'll keep doing it again and again and again and ... Jesus Christ, how many examples does one need?

  • Stephen Harper
  • Doug Ford
  • Jason Kenney
  • Donald Trump
  • Boris Johnson

Currently, after giving the eye-rollingly odious Boris Johnson a majority government in the U.K., Brits are now queueing for groceries and petrol, and the hashtag "#JohnsonOut" is rapidly trending on Twitter as the British electorate is finally growing a fucking brain stem and dimly beginning to appreciate how fucked they are.

You.

Voted.

For.

This.

Shit.

Stop doing it, you imbeciles.

The train wreck that just keeps on wrecking ...

Undischarged bankrupt who now owes me around $120,000 currently threatening to sue someone for defamation for telling him he is "fucked" and to "pound sand":

Yeah, the Court is going to take that case really seriously.

P.S. There is zero chance that Patrick Ross will be allowed to file any further legal actions against anyone given his established history of refusing to pay judgments or cost awards for years. If Patrick is threatening you with legal action, drop me a note and I will make sure you are fully-armed with everything you need to convince the Court to refuse to accept his action until he turns over a whack of cash.

P.P.S. Oh, and if he does manage to hand over a pile of money, I will insist on knowing where it came from for the purposes of collection. Then I will seize it.

What are the odds?

How is it that so many worthless, racist, Islamophobic, libelous, slanderous (and, in some cases, convicted) pieces of utter human garbage have, at one time or another, been best buddies with Rebel News' Ezra Levant?

Man, talk about coincidences.

Rebel News gets results!

BREAKING! NB man really fucking tired of assholes like Rebel News encouraging and subsidizing Christian pastors to act like irresponsible, virus-spewing plague rats and infect members of his family:

Friday, October 01, 2021

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Oh, dear ...

How brain-dead do you have to be to so totally ignore court orders that the judge finally loses patience and simply issues a default judgment against you that drives you into bankruptcy? Oh, wait ...

Never mind. Carry on.

So, how's that "Brexit" thingy working out for you?

Ruh roh ...

In short, having driven out of the country both the poorly-paid workers at meat-packing plants and the tens of thousands of truck drivers that would get that product to market, and now being subject to far more stringent transportation regulations to get that product into the EU, Brits are now wondering how this all went so horribly, horribly wrong.

P.S. I would be remiss in not pointing out how Rebel News, once Brexit's most vocal cheerleader, has gone oddly silent lately. Take a look at the rather sparse Brexit-related crap being posted there these days:

In other words, having done as much damage as it could to Great Britain, Rebel News has now moved on to simply telling people not to get vaccinated so they get sick and die.

Just another day at the office.

The hypocrisy of attention-seeking Christian pastors.

Every time you run into one of those Christian pastor attention whores who shrieks about the critical need to gather publicly because the Bible commands to preach as loudly and annoyingly as possible, feel free to point those Scripturally ignorant yobs at Matthew 6:5-6:

Tell them I sent you.

JUXTAPOSE!

Female lawyer only two Dalmatians short of a winter coat wants to change image of Dalmatian-hunting female lawyers:

There's grift ... and then there's whatever this is.

The monstrously untalented Tamara Ugolini of Rebel News brings us the sad news of a pastor who -- spurred on by the relentless cheerleading of Rebel News to break the law -- now has to cough up over a quarter million for being a criminal. Here's the entire body of the recent missive from Ugolini:

But I've saved the best for last. Seriously, settle in and appreciate the following:

That would be Ugolini, waiting until the very end of her blathering to quietly admit that Hildebrandt is getting no financial support or legal representation from Der Rebel, but they're still trying to fundraise off of him, anyway.

My God, that's adorable.

P.S. It's truly mind-bending to appreciate how much Rebel News has milked Hildebrandt's case for fundraising purposes:

only for them to admit that he's never been a "Fight the Fines" client all this time.

Jesus Christ ... obsess much?

The grift is strong with this one:
