Wajid has those talking points down, doesn't he?

Notice anything a bit odd about Wajid Khan's floor-crossing statement from this morning?

"I have noticed that more and more Canadians are excited about joining the Conservative party... I came to the conclusion that my ideals and priorities and those of my constituents would be better served in the Conservative party," Khan said Friday, alongside the Prime Minister.

"I was very pleased when Prime Minister Harper agreed that I should join Canada's new government."

"Canada's new government?" My, but he's already comfortable with the party-line propaganda, isn't he? Out of curiosity, given that the CPoC has been in charge for almost a year now, when do they stop being the "new" government?

Just wondering.

Weren't the CPC the same bunch whining incessantly about the notion of floor crossing last parliament?

Weren't they going to legislate it out of existence?

Oh waitasec ... then they needed a minister responsible for Trade...so much for principles.

I can't seem to find anyone calling Khan a whore. I wonder why that is?

For that matter, where's the derisive talk on him being a muslim? According to the reich wingers, even a tv show about Canadian muslims, or an American politician swearing on a Koran for publicity is a moonbat thing. Or even just being muslim.

Or, is this different somehow?

You know, that never occurred to me. Yeah...why the silence, Connies? Gone all "dhimmi" have we?

""Canada's new government?" My, but he's..."

Ah ah ah, it's spelled "Canada's New Government", capital C, N, G.

"For that matter, where's the derisive talk on him being a muslim?"

Brown people belong in the Conservative Party of Canada. Their family values tend to be much more conservative than today's Liberal party.

"why the silence, Connies? Gone all "dhimmi" have we?"

We're so overcome with joy that brown people are finally starting to clue in that they don't belong in today's Liberal party that we are too verklempt to make a statement. Today's Liberal party is too obsessed with gayness, atheism, gender quotas, and stupid fucking carbon credit pyramid schemes to be representative of the brown community so it's only natural that Khan and others will flock in droves to the Cons. I just looked up the numbers for the last election in Khan's riding; I like his chances of getting re-elected.

Today's Liberal party.
Exclusively for craaaaaaaaazy white women.

Well if that isn't the most racist sexist thing I've ever read...

Ms. P: I think it might be more "the most -off meds- thing I've ever read", except it reads pretty much as the standard neocon response in posts criticizing the Liberals. *If only they weren't so...so...Liberal...they'd keep serious people around. Those fluffy minded pinkos.*

I especially like "the brown community" part. and the "finally starting to clue in". Way to reach out to that voting bloc, Nonny. Maybe you can get a job working with Jason Kenny over at Multiculturalism and Canadian Identity. He's looking for a few good uhm, identityless sorts.

Yeah, Jason Kenney as the point man to 'new immigrant communities'. Isn't that like making Donald Trump an envoy to poverty groups? The depth of the Cons 'New' understanding towards new Canadians is thinner than the ice on Rideau canal today. Kahn was bought and paid for with a lot of air travel, apparently incognito under special assignment to Harpor. The people of his riding will see this for what it is, and he'll be toast 35 minutes after the polls close. But before then, I'm sure Harpor will appoint him minister of auto emissions.
