An interesting comment from Ross, given that this country's biggest proponent was Hugh Segal. I think most of us would agree that he was no lazy fuck. Segal presents a strong argument in his last book, Bootstraps Need Boots: One Tory's Lonely Fight to End Poverty in Canada (2009). I'd love to send the Alpha Male a copy, but to what address?
Ross would retort that Hugh Segal was a "Red Tory." A debased form of conservative unlike self-made men like Jason Kenney and Pierre Poilievre.
