Afghan deployment past 2011 possible: MacKay
Defence Minister Peter MacKay on Saturday repeated the government's official line that the country's soldiers would be withdrawn from combat in Afghanistan next year, but he also suggested some Canadians might stay.
Check in later at the Blogging Tories, where the wankers who once lauded Stephen Harper's bold leadership for extending our troops' mission in Afghanistan, then lauded Stephen Harper's bold leadership for fixing a withdrawal date, will now laud Stephen Harper's bold leadership for again extending our presence there.
I'm pretty sure someone will describe this as an "accomplishment." But that's just a guess.
