There's a macabre entertainment in watching life-long conservatives abandon their core principles in less time than it takes them to change their underwear. From Bobby "Smaller government!" Jindal suddenly deciding that federal aid is a good thing, to Sarah Palin:
All responsible energy development must be accompanied by strict oversight, but even with the strictest oversight in the world, accidents still happen.
That would be Sarah "Drill, baby, drill", suddenly a huge fan of "strict oversight" and rigourous government regulations, if I read it correctly.
Tune in tomorrow when the same howling banshees down south who staunchly defended George W. after Katrina will now explain that this is all Obama's fault and that's what happens when you let one of those darkies run things.
