Well, there's this:
A senior military officer said there will be no written presentation to the president on security and stability in Iraq. "There is no report. It is an assessment provided by them by testimony," the officer said.
And, oddly enough, there's this:
Opposition MPs charged yesterday that the Conservatives decided to kill any hint of MP Wajid Khan's report on the Middle East last year because he met with criticisms of Stephen Harper's Conservative government.
It occurs to me that if Canada's right-wing sandbox crowd are tired of Dear Leader Stephen Harper being continually accused of emulating George Bush, they should perhaps ask Dear Leader Stephen Harper to, you know, stop emulating George Bush.
It's just a suggestion.

Looks like America's not the only country that's going to have a civil war in the next few years over this Iraq/Afghanistan war nonsense.
Is this really a case of Harper emulating Bush? As I recall, the Conservatives started backtracking on Khan's report as soon as he got back. Seems more like a case of Bush emulating Harper.
The Bush admin has been stonewalling on everything since they came to power. Either way, regardless of who started it the behavior is unacceptable and shouldn't that be what we're concerned about more?
