As goes Commander Chimpy, so goes his sock puppet.

The next domino starts to teeter :

British Prime Minister Tony Blair has lost a crucial parliamentary vote on controversial new anti-terrorism legislation that would have allowed terrorist suspects to be held without charge for up to 90 days.

The defeat by 322 to 299 in the House of Commons on Wednesday was the first major defeat of Blair's eight-year premiership and was seen as a blow to his authority.

And the masses are finally starting to get pissed ...

BONUS TRACK: And did I mention this?

In a stinging rebuke from voters who elected him two years ago, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's efforts to reshape state government were rejected during a special election that darkened his prospects for a second term. Voters also strongly rejected an initiative that would have required parents to be notified when minors seek abortions.

Lesson to Canadians: This is what happens after you let the right wing govern for a while. It's called "buyer's remorse."
